What is breast cancer?
Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women. In 95% of cases, it is an adenocarcinoma. Detected early, it can be cured in 9 out of 10 cases. An adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumor that develops from the epithelial cells of the mammary gland, either in the milk ducts (the most common) or in the lobules of the breast.
MSLAB offers post-menopausal women a drug to prevent recurrence, or following breast surgery, or if surgery is not immediately feasible.
